In senior core last week, we learned about RWU.me and how to create our own webpage from scratch.
I’m still kind of getting familiar with this website. Navigating it can get a little confusing, but I’m sure with time I’m going to become a pro at it.
Food for thought: it would be cool for students to create a WordPress at the beginning of freshman year. They can post and blog about projects they’ve done in class or milestones they’ve reached within their college career. By senior year, they can look back and see what they’ve accomplished in the four years. If something like this was offered during my freshman year, I would definitely be interested. The courses I have to take for electrical engineering involve lots and lots of projects and labs. It would be nice to have one space where I can document everything just for fun!
I’m not sure if WordPress is able to, but having the ability to navigate through other people’s blogs/pages would be cool too. A commenting feature could be useful for students to check out each other’s work!
